The results of the II round of the III International Vladimir Spivakov Violin Competition have been announced.

Today, the II round of the III International Vladimir Spivakov Violin Competition was held in the Small Hall of the Bashkortostan State Music Hall. Three out of 8 participants made it to the final of the competition:

Jewon Wee (South Korea, Seoul);
Chisa Kitagawa (Japan, Tokyo);
Elias David Moncado (Germany, Munich).

2 participants received a special prize and a cash prize "Hope":
Alexandra Weissbecker (Russia, Kazan);
Marie Helling (Germany, Stuttgart).

The gratitude for participation was presented to the accompanists of the competition: Zoya Abolits, Anna Tamarkina, Petr Gorobets.

All participants who did not qualify for the third round received feedback from the jury members about their performances.

The final round, in which the winners will be determined, will take place tomorrow, November 25 at 19:00 at the GKZ "Bashkortostan". The participants will perform accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan and soloists of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia. The famous Estonian musician Mikhail Hertz is at the conductor's desk.

The Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition in Ufa is being held for the third time by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan with the support of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
