Sophi Rochlin was born in Ashdod, Israel in 2001. She’s studying under Mrs. Elena Mazor at the Giv’ataim Conservatory. She participates in the Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the David Goldman Program for Outstanding Young Musicians, the Ilona Feher Program and the Huberman Program, all organized by the Jerusalem Music Center. In addition, she participates and
performs as a soloist at the Keshet Eilon violin courses.
She took part and performed in several concerts at the New Virtuosi International Mastercourse in England and at the Zakhar Bron’s Violin Mastercourse in Berlin. She took part in master classes with Zakhar Bron, Miriam Fried, Mikhail Kopelman, Grigory Kalinovsky, Ani Schnarch, Boris Garlitsky, Pavel Berman, Victoria Grigoreva and Daniel Heifetz. She’s a recipient of the America Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships.
