Mayuko Ishigami started to learn violin at the age of 9. In 2004 she participated in International Music Festival in Rome, in 2005 — at the Kyoto Art Festival. Mayuko is a laureate of the Student Music Concours of Japan in Osaka (2nd Prize, 2008), 77th Music Competition of Japan (2nd Prize, Prize of Public, Prize of E. Nakamichi), 7th Romanian International Music Competition (1st Prize, 2011), 5th Munetsugu Angel Violin Competition (4th Prize, 2015).
Mayuko Ishigami performed with main Japanese orchestras: Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, Rakusei Symphony Orchestra. She has recorded chamber music by Mozart with Nagaokakyo chamber music ensemble.
In 2016 she performed chamber music with violinists Sylvie Gazeau and Yuko Mori, violist Bruno Pasquier and pianist Dominique de Williencourt.
