The results of the first round of the III Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition have been announced.

The results of the first round of the III Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition have been announced.

Today, the first round of the III International Vladimir Spivakov Violin Competition was held in the Small Hall of the Bashkortostan State Music Hall. 8 participants out of 10 passed to the second round of the competition:

Jevon Wee (South Korea, Seoul);
Chisa Kitagawa (Japan, Tokyo);
Arseniya Sibileva (Russia, Moscow);
Grigory Miroshnik (Russia, Moscow);
Yulia Smirnova (Russia, Moscow);
Elias David Moncado (Germany, Munich);
Alexandra Weissbecker (Russia, Kazan);
Marie Helling (Germany, Stuttgart).

Two participants who did not qualify for the second round - Maria Lundina (Russia, Moscow) and Ivan Naborshchikov (Russia, Moscow) - will be able to receive feedback from the jury members about their performances. The same opportunity will be given to the contestants who did not pass the third round.

"I want to say that the competition is not only joyful news, but also upsets. In order for you and us to have a pleasant impression, to have an honest presentation, and in order for you to understand the reason why you did not go further, you will have the opportunity to meet with the jury. Everyone will have the opportunity to listen to comments, suggestions, and the reasons why it happened. As you know, this rarely happens at other contests. But it seems to me that this is very important and very valuable," Vladimir Teodorovich Spivakov, the inspirer, a permanent member of the competition jury, announced to the contestants at the end of the evening.

Recall that the second round of the violinist competition will be held tomorrow, November 24, from 12 o'clock in the Small Hall of the GKZ "Bashkortostan".
The Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition in Ufa is being held for the third time by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan with the support of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
