The III International Vladimir Spivakov Violin Competition is open!!!
22 November a press conference was held with the participation of the People's Artist of the USSR, UNESCO World Artist Maestro Vladimir Spivakov, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova, the jury and general director of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Artur Naziullin. We thank the speakers for the warm wishes to the participants, and the mass media of the republic for the warm atmosphere of the festival of culture and art!

Secondly, I am very pleased that two stars, Daniel Lozakovich and Maria Duenas, our winners of previous competitions, have grown into amazing violinists. Today they are birds of the highest flight, I am closely connected with them and we often play together. Daniel got the opportunity to record a disc with the National Symphony Orchestra of Russia, Maria will give a concert in New York the other day. Participants of previous years say that Bashkortostan, Ufa, the competition are forever in their hearts, and, one might say, they are ambassadors of good in our difficult time. For Bashkiria, and not only that, this is a very good example, because after the competition, a lot of children began to study music. People who make music can change the world.
