Competition finals have been scheduled for May 14. In compliance with Rules and Regulations finalists are to perform a violin concerto by a 19-20 century composer accompanied by the orchestra.
Finalists will partner up with National Symphony Orchestra of Bashkortostan and Mihail Gerts as its guest conductor.
On May 14 the auditions will start with Leonid Zhelezny performing Violin Concerto in D minor, Op. 47 by Sibelius. Ágnes Langer will perform Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor, Opus 77 by Shostakovich.
Mai Suzuki has chosen Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64 as her performing piece.
The last finalist to perform is Daniel Lozakovitj with Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61.
